So, you wanna practice the Yoga ?
Wonderful, you’ve come to the right spot .
During a 1:1 Yoga session, we’ll begin by setting an intention for our time together - the intention is the honest answer as to Why you are on your mat. (Hint ! there are no right or wrong answers here 😉)
The aim in a 1:1 session is to allow you to tap into what your body is communicating to You !
The body literally holds everything: every past memory, trauma, joyful experience etc., and the more we enter into our bodies, the more is revealed to us .
Within the layers of the body lies a potent wisdom that when tapped into, offers us a gateway into the present moment - this is no joke, where everything we’ve ever dreamt of resides !
I heard another teacher once share that in order to rise up you gotta go down into the shit ! I’m paraphrasing, but it was definitely something that landed with me .
Now, my aim as a teacher is not to push you into any “shit” (so to speak) that you aren’t ready for..
The aim is to hold space for you and your experience, to assist you in processing and releasing through the practice of yoga .
My hope, in our time together is that you receive nothing short of a permission slip to lean into the freedom that you deserve 🕊
